🪫 On paper I'm doing well, but I feel stuck and trapped. I feel empty inside and nearing burnout.
🧠 Find out what is unconsciously creating your growth ceilings and break through it in trance.
⏳ I know exactly which task moves the needle, but I keep procrastinating.
✅ You do the work that moves the needle, without putting it off for weeks or months.
🎢 For the first few days I'm like a machine. Then I miss one day and stop completely.
📆 You show up consistently.
🌀 I overthink everything. I have too many ideas and can't focus on any of them.
🌊 You drop into flow and finish the one thing that matters.
🙈 I find it hard to put myself out there. If I'm more visible, I'll be judged.
📣 You share the work you’re proudest of and stay visible without shrinking.
🧊 If I don't start, I can't fail. So I don't start.
🏁 You start, with a plan for the worst that could happen.
🫣 I fear if I become successful, I won't be able to take on more responsibilities.
🌟 You stop fearing success and step into the best version of yourself.
🪞 I can see who I could be. I'm not sure I am ready to become that version of me.
🚀 You quantum jump into the most ideal version of yourself.
🔥 I've been stuck, and I can't work out how to scale my business without burnout
📈 You get unstuck, and find new ways to scale your business with flow and alignment.
You might think that more strategy, productivity hacks, thinking, or discipline would help. But you’re unconsciously running patterns hypnotised into you years ago...
The human brain processes 11 million bits of information per second. Your conscious mind handles 50. Your unconscious processes the remaining 10,999,950.

Introducing

You know what you want. You might even know exactly what you need to do to get there. But something keeps getting in the way.
In this session, you’ll explore what might be behind that resistance. You’ll connect with the part of you that’s been holding back, understand what it’s trying to protect you from, and begin to see things differently.
It’s a chance to understand yourself a little better before you start making changes.

There’s something you’ve been meaning to do. You know it’s important, but somehow you keep distracting yourself with other things to do.
In this session, you’ll explore what’s holding you back and find resources from the past so that you’re motivated to work on whatever it is that you need to finish.

You start something feeling motivated. For a while, everything goes well. Then life gets busy, you miss a day, and before you know it, you’ve stopped altogether.
Sound familiar?
In this session, you’ll look at what happens when you keep repeating that cycle, then imagine what life could look like if you followed through instead.
You’ll mentally rehearse being the person who keeps showing up, even when the initial motivation has worn off.

You think about something from every possible angle. You weigh up the options, question your decisions, and you end up paralysed, doing nothing.
In this session, you’ll reconnect with moments when you felt completely absorbed in what you were doing. When things flowed, you trusted yourself, and you weren’t second-guessing every move.
You’ll practise bringing that feeling back to something you’re working on right now.

You have something worth sharing. But when it’s time to put yourself out there, you hesitate.
Maybe you worry about what people will think. Maybe you feel like an imposter. Maybe you don’t want to seem too confident, too ambitious, or too much.
In this session, you’ll explore where those feelings might come from and work on feeling safer being seen.
Because you shouldn’t have to hide the work you’re proud of.

There’s something you want to do, but the possibility of failing it keeps stopping you.
What if it doesn’t work? What if you embarrass yourself? What if you put everything into it and still fail?
In this session, you’ll look at those fears rather than avoiding them. You’ll explore what might actually happen if things don’t go to plan and how you could handle it.

You work hard for something, and then, as things start to go well, you find yourself pulling back.
Maybe success brings more pressure and more expectations.
In this session, you’ll explore what might feel uncomfortable about succeeding, even when it’s something you really want.
You’ll work with the part of you that’s been holding back and explore new ways to feel comfortable moving forward.

Imagine meeting a version of yourself who’s already where you want to be.
In this guided visualisation, you’ll meet your future self, ask a question that’s been on your mind, and explore what you can learn from that most successful version of yourself.
You’ll finish by choosing one action you can take this week to move closer to that goal in the future.
Meet your hypnotist

I’m the founder of Surreal Digital and Surreal Experiments. I have a BA in Philosophy from University College London and a Master’s in Management from London Business School, and I’ve guest lectured at Sotheby’s Institute of Art and UCL.
Over the last few years I’ve worked with more than 4,300 founders and creators, from 5 to 8 figures, on growing their businesses through digital marketing, and failed multiple businesses and then bootstrapped my 7th business to 6 figures in 1.5 years.
Working with that many founders, and watching myself, I kept seeing the same thing: most of what holds us back runs below conscious awareness.
Imposter syndrome, scarcity mindset, fear of being criticised, fear of visibility, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of not being enough, etc.

When my marketing agency hit £25k a month, enquiries and leads were at an all-time high. I thought I’d be happy.
Instead I felt numb and empty, stuck doing the same thing over and over, cut off from my creativity, and burned out. I was sick every 2 weeks, and lost the motivation for the thing that had fuelled me in the first place.
I wanted to know how to scale my business without burnout. Consciously, the fix was obvious: onboard more clients, hire more people and delegate. But when I finally went into my unconscious mind in altered state, the answer was different. I had chosen the wrong business model.
I had unconsciously commercialised a childhood survival pattern, people-pleasing: being useful made me feel worthy. That translated into overdelivering, underpricing, being always needed to answer client and employee questions in my business. That led to my burnout, and I had unconsciously created my own growth ceiling.

After that realisation, I changed the model from an agency to a digital one, doubled my revenue and worked five times less.
I started attracting aligned clients.
But one question remained: why did I have that realisation only just now after a decade of reading self-help books, talk therapy and 30+ healing modalities?
What is it about altered states that made it so powerful at not only becoming self-aware of my patterns, but also changing them?

That led me to train under some of the world’s top hypnotherapists, including Richard Bandler, the co-creator of NLP, and Paul McKenna, and Stephen Brooks, to learn the power of the unconscious mind, how we unconsciously create our limits and growth ceilings and how to break them in trance.
That’s what led me to start Surreal Experiments: helping ambitious people change the unconscious identity patterns that keep recreating their current reality, so they can build a life and business that’s actually aligned, with more flow, meaning and fulfilment.
So you become psychologically capable of holding the visibility, money, success and responsibility they say you want.

Maybe you’ve read the books, sat through therapy and coaching, done the sales and marketing courses, and your business still hits a ceiling that no amount of conscious thinking has fixed.
Maybe you’re burned out and disconnected from your body and your flow, or you got everything you wanted and still feel empty.
You might think that more strategy, productivity hacks, thinking, or discipline would help. But you’re unconsciously running patterns hypnotised into you years ago.

Your business is a projection of your inner self. Most often the bottleneck is you, and once the unconscious blocks move, a lot of the other problems unblock themselves. Reprogramming my unconscious mind in altered states changed my life, and it can change yours too.

“I used to feel guilty for wanting to be successful and make money. She helped me uncover the unconscious beliefs around self-worth and being seen. Because I became more confident sharing my creative work, I landed commissions and grew my business, but more importantly, I grew as a person.”
Jawaher Al-BaderCreative entrepreneur“I’m transitioning from a burned out entrepreneur toward better work/life balance. Ginny suggested an intuitive hypnotherapy session. It was super focused and practical. It helped me unblock fears I’d been carrying around work. Two months later I still think about that day.”
Flavio AmielEntrepreneur“I listen to the hypnosis tracks repeatedly, not just once, because it takes a while to reprogram your brain, and with each listening I found an improvement. Within a week my screen time had gone down. Then it started changing how I see what I’m doing for my business. I started a Substack. You just listen to a track, and your behaviour starts changing. How many ways do you get to make a change that is so pleasant?”

“Before the course I really didn’t know my story. I had no idea why I was making portraits, why the colour, any of it. Ginny knows business, marketing, art and the psychology behind us. I am my marketing: if I don’t know who I am and what’s in my work, the ads have no purpose. Now I know my story and I can tell it. Sales are going great: an 18,000 euro commission through Instagram ads and a 7,500 euro piece through my newsletter.”
Lisette van MaurikCreative entrepreneur“I couldn’t put into words what I created or why I created it. Ginny’s work helped me see the unconscious patterns and realize the purpose behind my work. Once I could clearly express what I do, I made my very first sales.”

“My screen time was 6+ hours and 120+ pick-ups a day. After one week of the hypnosis sessions it was 52 minutes and 13 pick-ups. That’s quite the change.”
“I went from unconsciously thinking that marketing was about tricking people, to realising it’s about connecting. Breaking through that unconscious belief didn’t just help my business. I started having real conversations, and connecting with friends and family in a deeper way.”

Stop fighting the symptom. Change the pattern where it was written.

Most of what you have tried works with your conscious mind, in the waking beta brainwave state. Most of your limiting beliefs were hypnotised into you before you were seven, in the theta brainwave state, and they still run from there. Each hypnosis audio takes you straight into theta and changes the belief where it was installed. Traditional solutions are like taking snorkelling gear to a dive 100 metres down. They never reach the depth where the pattern was encoded.
As adults in our normal waking state, we move between two brainwave states: Beta, when we’re doing logical, focused thinking, and a lighter Alpha when we’re relaxed. An altered state of consciousness is a shift into the deeper Alpha and Theta brainwave states. There are many ways to reach Theta, including breathwork, hypnosis, somatic work, and shamanic drumming. The sessions in this challenge use hypnosis.
As children, we are naturally in altered states of consciousness. Between the ages of 2 and 6, your brain was predominantly in the theta brainwave state (4-8 Hz). Research confirms that early childhood (ages 3-7) is characterised by a dominance of theta oscillations, which only shift toward faster alpha and beta frequencies as children mature (Orekhova et al., 2006). In that window, your core beliefs about love, money, and self-worth were absorbed directly into your unconscious, shaped by whatever you were exposed to during that time. That’s why these patterns are so difficult to change through ordinary conscious thinking. They were never installed consciously in the first place.

Scepticism is welcome. You don’t need to believe in anything for this to work. The unconscious mind is well established in neuroscience and psychology. What I ask is that you come with an open mind and a genuine willingness to “know thyself.”
No. It is a self-guided hypnotic meditation programme, though you may find it changes your patterns faster than traditional therapy. If you have a psychiatric disorder it is not for you: psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, a dissociative disorder, borderline or narcissistic personality disorder, or epilepsy. Work with a clinician instead.
Absolutely. Many people work with a therapist for ongoing support and find that this work accelerates what therapy has started. The two approaches complement each other because they operate at different levels of awareness.
No. This is a deep meditative state. Your brain is naturally in theta when you have just woken up, right before you fall asleep, and when you are in flow. The hypnosis you see on YouTube when a hypnotist says sleep and the person collapses is stage hypnosis, which only works on the small minority of people who are highly hypnotisable.
The truth is we move in and out of trance states all day. You’re in one when you’re absorbed in a film, driving a familiar route on autopilot, or scrolling your phone. Hypnosis simply works with that same natural state on purpose.
You stay conscious and in control throughout and can come out at any time, as you would in a guided meditation or a sound bath. Nothing can be put into you that isn’t already yours.
A 1-on-1 session is built around you: I find the exact memory the pattern came from and change it there, live. The challenge covers the seven self-sabotage patterns I see most in business owners, one a day, at a fraction of the price. Most people start here. If a pattern is still running after the seven days, that is what the 1-on-1 work is for.
Whenever you can lie down for half an hour with headphones and not be interrupted. Pick a time when you want to relax but are not about to fall asleep. Just after waking or early evening works well. If you do it in bed at night you will drift off before the session has done its work.
Then you do it the next day. The challenge waits for you. You have access to the whole challenge for a year, so you can take it at your own pace and run it again whenever a pattern comes back.
Yes, 30 days, money back. Run the seven days properly: headphones in, one session a day. If it has not moved anything for you, email within 30 days of buying and you get a full refund, no forms, no questions.
You have to want to change the pattern for this to work. A smoker who does not want to quit will sabotage the session no matter how good the hypnotist is. And it is not for you if you have aphantasia (more on that below), epilepsy, or are going through a psychiatric disorder including severe depression, psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, a dissociative disorder, or borderline or narcissistic personality disorder.
This is also not for those with aphantasia (around 5% of the population). A quick test: when I say imagine an apple, close your eyes and picture it. How vividly can you see it? If you can’t visualise anything at all, you may have aphantasia.
These audios are generalised, so I use visual techniques combined with kinaesthetic techniques. If you have aphantasia you’d need custom hypnosis built on kinaesthetic techniques, which you can book as a 1-on-1 with me. Generalised hypnosis wouldn’t be for you.
