Pillar 07
The cruellest version of "lost" isn't when nothing's working — it's when everything's working and you still feel hollow. The career is fine. The relationship is fine. The numbers are fine. You should be happy and you're not, and the fact that you're not adds guilt to the emptiness.
This isn't a mental health crisis. It's an alignment failure. The version of you that built the current life made decisions based on what looked safe, smart, and approved. That version did its job. The next version of you is asking different questions, and the current life can't answer them.
Most "find your purpose" advice is too small. It hands you a worksheet for finding ikigai or a journaling prompt about your eight-year-old self. The actual work is harder: it's the willingness to admit which parts of the current life you've outgrown, and to grieve them before something more aligned can take their place.
You don't find purpose. You let the unaligned things fall away until what's left is unmistakable.
